ZW Tips

I have shared my tips that my ZM's know me well for. I also have shared with you, the tips from those who have played or are still playing zoo. These will help you out in the long run, understanding what others are thinking, and maybe make ZW a bit easier for you.

**Tips from Cat (one of the spawners & creator of this site):**
A) Train the damn birds early! They get expensive the higher you are and the last trick is .5% per click.	B) Buy as many managers as U can cuz they get freaking expensive fast!
C) when U adopt animals from feed, get 5 of each!!! There is NO need to ask for people to SEND THOSE TO U! U WILL NEED 5 of each!!! Those of us spawning animals ask often what feed animals U need, if UR too lazy to ask & adopt them yourself, then remove me fom your list. List of Feed Animals can be found under the Animals Menu at the top of this page.	D) Do not add someone just cuz they have lots of animals that you think you can ask them to give them to you. It does not work that way.
E) DO NOT MESSAGE ME WITH A "SHOPPING" LIST OF LIMITEDS. I will NOT respond nicely to it. Do NOT assume you have to breed a borrowed animal before sending back. Be respective, accept animal, buy a 2nd one, send the 1st one back RIGHT AWAY. You can then buy another one to breed. DO NOT BE DISRESPECTFUL AND INCONSIDERATE by keeping the animal.
There are those of us who dont mind helping as long as YOU are actually working on the levels rather than having others play it for you. Note: Most of us did all 43 levels without begging for animals. We did it without getting feed animals from spawners. We also had a time period where you could only get 5 animals off the feed per day. Most of us did NOT get the treasure hunter till AFTER we were done with level 43. There was even a period of time where we only had 3 breeding nests!! There was also a time when only one person could grab a feed animal. So we had to constantly watch the feed for animals and try to be the first to grab them. That is right, we worked our a$$es off to get as far as we have. So please remember to be respectful to those who are taking time away from their personal lives to help out. We may not hand over expensive limited animals every time they come out but we do try our best within zoo's idiotic limitations. If you dont agree with being respectful, there is a simple fancy little button called the delete button.. please feel free to use it.

**Tips received from Zoo Players like yourself:**
Don't constantly ask people for animals......fruits of your own labor kinda thing, ya know?	Buy maintenance men/kiosk guys, lots of them! They get extremely expensive.
Train the animals EARLY! They get extremely expensive and are time consuming.	Don't accept kiosks in daily gifts, they cost you kiosk managers. Each kiosk equals one kiosk manager.
Plan ahead for the different levels.	You WILL need 5 of every animal except ultra rares, so plan ahead.
Collect your gate money every 15 minutes or you lose out big time.	Don't breed feed animals they will end up costing a fortune in upgrades if you adopt too many.
Learn how to manage limited money and breeding better.	The treasure hunter (now dog) is extremely important. It will help you keep the zoo bank up.
The rules are going to change in this game as there are no rules. It is a beta game. So either get used to it or choose a different game.	Don't buy unnecessary decorations as there is not enough room on the islands.
*Send gifts to your friends, especially free animals in the beginning. That way you will get back what you need without having to buy them.	Buy restrooms and parking lots as it is apparently still required, although zoo doesn't prompt for them anymore.
Do not to spend any 'real' money($$$) on the game as there have been many occasions where players have been so unhappy with changes they have quit and lost out on their money.	Getting lucky with borrowing the new animals is a good thing but DO NOT BEG OR PESTER PEOPLE TO LEND THEM TO YOU!!!!
When you do borrow animals that you return them instantly or agree on a trade for something else.	Buy hospitals and vets right away. They get costly.
It's best to train my critters right away because now it's taking me forever and costing me a fortune, that's the one tip that stands out the most.	Find and add zoomates - ask for zoomates for recommendations - so that getting the multiple animals needed from the feed can be done more easily. Now, multiple zoomates are also needed to help with missions (besides the obvious need for zoomates to get islands).
Upgrade the collectibles...trees, mushrooms etc. You can collect money by shaking them.	Visit everyone's zoo and collect their greenhouses. Get all the money you can early and keep getting it.
Don't be afraid to ask for help...don't always ask for animals (work on those the best you can yourself) but you never know who might have an extra whale laying around that they would be willing to part with...	Do NOT ask for Shopping lists of animals.
Start buying or breeding right away for the 5 of each, do not buy every animal you can get, because of the 5 of each achievement.	Make a list in your notes about the unlimited for friends to send, they love it because of the sending animals achievement (earn trophy, you earn a wlp).
Gift your zoomates trees, so you can get a lot of good ones to shake yourself.	Buy the treasure hunting dog, it is well worth the money when you get to the animals that are $6 million each.
Don't buy any more kiosks than you have to - don't waste your money it's better to keep and use for breeding.	Start breeding early, this will help towards the 5 of each achievement.
Get lots of friends. Makes the building projects easier. Stay away from the feed unless you have friends like Spawners** that post a lot of animals. Get 5 of everything on the feed. If you can't don't get it.	Breed Breed Breed.
* Make sure that you are sending the unlimited/free animals to those who want them. There are many who are not interested in them. ** Spawners are zoomates who post a ton of the feed animals allowing you to grab 5 of each at a time.
