Treats
Feeding your animals junk earns you trophies.
When collecting your hearts, take a moment to check out the new Treats selection page. Each treat has a new (and very familiar) experience bar. That's because Mastery Levels, like those for Gate collecting and Breeding, have come to Treats! And like the other Mastery Levels, they come bearing gifts.
Every time you feed a treat, your Mastery Level in that treat goes up by one. Once you hit Bronze level, your Hearts will start paying out Zoo Dollars in addition to XP. Treats at Bronze level also cost $5 in Zoo Dollars each, but so long as you harvest them before they turn purple, they’ll turn a tidy profit.
Treat Mastery Basics
Treat Mastery unlocks at XP Level 10. All players who are level 10 and above can start now.
Treats at Bronze level and higher, in exchange for costing a very small amount of zoo dollars when fed, pay a larger amount of zoo dollars when collected.
As before, Red hearts pay the full amount and Pink hearts pay a smaller amount. Purple hearts do not earn their money back, so make sure to collect while Pink or Red.

When you visit the Treat screen, it will show you how many treats of each you need to level up. (Hint: the number required doubles with each Mastery Level.) |
